1. It is difficult to nail down the exact issues or push and pull of powers between state and
federal governments. it seems like most politicians such as Trump, may go either way on
these issues depending on the law inquisition benefits their political agenda. For instance,
Trump would have been a strong advocate for the 10th Amendment if certain states had
invoked the 10th Amendment in overturning certain election results. Conversely, when
states did not cooperate with his wishes, Trump would be a proponent of federal policing
powers to be more expansive as seen in the United States v. California regarding
"Sanctuary Cities". States are beholden to federal funds, regardless of their rights how
may they enforce them without funding?
