Xiaoman, the eighth solar term in the twenty-four solar terms, is also the second solar term in summer. Xiaoman, Doujiao, the sun reaches 60° of the yellow longitude, and it is celebrated on May 20-22 in the Gregorian calendar every year. The name Xiaoman has two meanings. First, it is related to climate precipitation. During the Xiaoman solar term, the torrential rain in the south began to increase, and the precipitation was frequent; the folk proverb goes, "Xiaoman is Xiaoman, the rivers are gradually full". The "full" in Xiaoman refers to the abundance of rain.
