Comprehensive Cancer Network have recommended annual screening MRI (in addition to mammography) beginning age 25-30 for high risk groups that include:
a) Known BRCA carriers
b) Untested patients with first degree relative with BRCA mutation
c) Chest wall radiation between ages 10 to 30 (e.g., treatment for Hodgkin disease)
d) Lifetime risk of 20%-25% or more of breast cancer (based on risk models).
