In this lesson, you analyzed how W. W. Jacobs used pacing to create tension in Part III of "The Monkey's Paw." In this activity, you'll write a two-paragraph analysis explaining how Jacobs' choices concerning order of events and pacing create tension over the course of "The Monkey's Paw." You can refer to your notes and annotations in the Read and Analyze section of this lesson or access the whole text here.
