Silver chloride is a reliable test for the presence of cl⁻ ions, and makes a white precipitate:
AgCl(s)→Ag⁺+(aq)+Cl(aq)
Ksp =1.8×10⁻¹⁰
if equal volumes of 0.0002m agno₃(aq) and 0.0002m nacl(aq) are mixed, will a solution form?
