You’ll be given a set of FTIR and NMR spectra belonging to 3 compounds: salicylic acid, aspirin and paracetamol. Spectra are labelled as A, B and C.

Study each set of spectra and identify the corresponding compound (i.e. what is compound A, B, and C)
Assign the main IR absorption bands to their corresponding functional groups for each compound
Assign the peaks in NMR spectra to their corresponding protons and carbons for each compound
