While most treatments for Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD) have been ineffective and the prognosis for someone receiving treatment for APD is poor, there is one caveat:
a) Women with APD are more responsive to treatment than men with APD.
b) If people with APD are forced to go to therapy, they get better.
c) Most people with APD improve after age 40 without treatment.
d) Most people with APD are in jail, so they don’t pose a threat to society.
