Which Civil Rights leader believed that African Americans should set up their own communities without interference or help from white Americans?

Respuesta :

I don't think this will help, but MLKjr. and Rosa Parks were both civil rights leaders, and had similar views. Neither thought that, which leads me to believe that Malcolm X could be that person...he did think white Americans were oblivious to African Americans thought, actions and feelings and should leave African Americans alone to do as they please

Answer:

Malcolm X

Explanation:

Malcolm X condemned whites, whom he referred to as the "white devil," for the historical oppression of blacks. He argued for black power, black self-defense and black economic autonomy, and encouraged racial pride. As Martin Luther King preached his gospel of peaceful change and integration in the late 1950s and early 1960s, Malcolm X delivered a different message: whites were not to be trusted. He called on African Americans to be proud of their heritage and to set up strong communities without the help of white Americans.
