The answer is option A "Her stomach rumbled like an approaching train." Smiles are two things being compared but using the words like or as, in this case they are comparing her stomach, and a train. (also having like in the sentence) Also remember the metaphors are also comparing two things but they do NOT have like or as, only similes.
