HELP WILL GIVE YA BRAINLIEST IF YOU PROVIDE HELP! Finian enjoys the candy store. He can purchase 6 lollipops and 4 chocolate bars for $5.10. He can purchase 4 lollipops and 7 chocolate bars for $6.65. Finian decides to purchase 2 lollipops and 5 chocolate bars. What is the total cost of his purchase?

The answer to this question is $11.55

Let L and C be the unit price of the lollipops and the chocolate bars respectively.  Then:

6L + 4C = $5.10 and
4L + 7C = $6.65

There are various ways in which we could solve this system of linear equations.  I've used matrices on my TI-83 calculator:
L = $0.35 and C = $0.75

The total cost of his purchase is 2($0.35)+7($0.75) = $5.95.
