"It seems that nothing exists for modern men" beyond what can be seen and touched; or at least , even if they admit theoretically that something more may exist , they immediately declare it not merely unknown but "unknowable",which absolves them from having to think about it.
Even within the wise order, a science of this sort has however very little reference to reality, the bigger a part of that is sure to elude it.
This tendency has reached the purpose of supposing that there will be no science, within the real that means of the word,except wherever it's attainable to introduce measuringwhich there will be no scientific laws except people who categorical quantitative relations.
