I believe that the answer is c. deforestation. The effect of deforestation would lead to death the plants in the area. Death of plants would cause loosening of soil since the roots which holds the soil in place also dies. Then the loosing of soil will further result to erosion of not only the soil but also its minerals.

The answer is c. deforestation. Deforestation occurs when large areas of forests are removed by humans. Plant roots help to bind the soil together. Killing trees cause the soil to loosened and easily washed away. Removing trees also lead to increased surface runoff that washes away the soil.
