For WW2, Italy was the first of the Axis power to surrender and signed a treaty with the allies forces 2 years before Japan and Germany.
For WW1 Germany was the first to surrender after news of Hitler's suicide reached the Nazi soldiers and everyone then agreed to end the war not long after.
