I NEED HELP ON THIS ASAP!!!  PLZ HELP!!

Paine's personal religious beliefs became a great issue in his later life and heritage. However, Paine uses Biblical references, including the idea that "heaven" meant for the US and England to be separate because of the Atlantic Ocean separating them. What is your opinion of his use of such reasoning? Who would be swayed by such arguments? Why do you think he used them?
