The conflict is a disagreement between the two help in the progression of the plot , for instance the protagonist heroic , seeks to accomplish some great personal goal.

The title as well as the author in the first sentence is Rikki Tikki who can be regarded as a protagonist in the story.

One of the main conflict was the challenges that he faced in the given story, especially the trouble of his wife Nagaina, and the large cobra.

At the end of the story, Rikki-tikki was able to learn a defence from Nagaina, by showing he was brave and could give his family the necessary protection.
