Under the Uniform Act or otherwise called Motor Vehicle Drivers' Licenses Act, Section 483.040, When a driver's license is cancelled, it is declared void and terminated. On the off chance that  a driving  license is  cancelled or  suspended under this area, the Court will  get the  driving permit  in its  keeping, prescribe the cancellation or,  as the case might be, suspension, subsequently and send the driving permit so supported to the expert by which the permit was  issued or  last restored  and  such  authority  shall, on accepting of  the permit,  keep the permit in its sheltered guardianship, and for the situation  of a  suspended permit,  return the  license to  the proprietor thereof after the expiry of the time of suspension on an application arranged by him for such return.
