According to question, we wants to make mixture where lemon = lime

We have to make 6 gallons, where

40% lemon juice require to make 6 gallon

i.e, [tex]40\% \text{ of } 6= 0.4 \times 60=2.4[/tex]

and 60% lime juice require to make 6 gallon

i.e, [tex]60\% \text{ of } 6= 0.6 \times 60=3.6[/tex]

Now, to make them equal subtract both of them
