Political Limitations
African Americans were not allowed to vote. So they weren't able to elect their own representatives. Officials used literacy tests and poll taxes to keep them from voting. They also weren't able to run in elections or serve in a jury, keeping them from having a voice in their community and government.
Economic Limitations
Unfair legal codes often permitted the arrest of poor, unemployed persons, usually African American, for lack of homes or money. It was a time of economic struggles. Because of that, white lashed out further at African Americans through the Klu Klux Clan. Africans weren't hired for well paying jobs often, and most were extremely poor. They also weren't well educated, so it was hard to get a job.
Social Limitations
African Americans were unable to own properties and were segregated from the white people in their community. They were unable to marry white people or travel without a permit. They were not allowed even in a theater for white people.
Social limitations
African Americans were discriminated for everything. They are not allowed to enter specific restaurants, they are forbidden to use public restroom, not allowed to go to theaters.
Political Limitations
No Back representative was elected in that time.
Economic limitations
Employers only want to hire them for low-class hard labor with low pay. Also Blacks had difficulties buying any property in that period.
