This conflict could change Marcus as a person, by causing him to not trust the police, and fear them. This could also cause some attachment issues between Marcus and his dad. Marcus and his father have very different opinions, and this could tear them apart. Which is not good for either of them. Marcus would change as a person, in my opinion, because of this conflict
