Jake and Lacy work at a golf driving range. At the end of the day, Jake collected 408 golf balls and Lacy collected 374 golf balls. They need to put them into baskets with 34 golf balls in each basket. How many baskets will Jake and Lacy fill altogether? Please show how you got your answer!!

they will fill 23 baskets. we get this by adding the number of golf balls each of them get to get the total number of golf balls. then, we divide the total number of golf balls by 34 because that's how many they will be able to put into each basket. it will look a little like this: 408+374=782

782/34=23 baskets
