On dia de los muertos famillys put up ofrendas(offerings) to their family members that have passed away. They also decorate the graves. They decorate their homes with cempasuchil, or marigold in english, they cook their passed away family members favorite foods like mole, which is a sauce, usually made with chicken, which is a mixture of different nuts and chocolate.
