Use the letter from Count Stephen to his family to answer the following question:

You may be very sure, dearest, that the messenger whom I sent to give you pleasure left me before Antioch safe and unharmed and, through God's grace, in the greatest prosperity. And already at that time, together with all the chosen army of Christ, endowed with great valor by Him, we have been continually advancing for twenty-three weeks toward the home of our Lord Jesus. You may know for certain, my beloved, that of gold, silver, and many other kind of riches I now have twice as much as your love had assigned to me when I left you.-Public Domain

Respuesta :

The benefits of fighting the Crusades are apparent in this letter from a Crusader to his wife, Your answer would be, Letter Choice, (A);  Devotion to God and Great Wealth.

Explanation:

My take would be, During periods where there was no fighting going on; there was a chance to set up a business, and trade ideas and products. This was an easy and ideal way to get money. One example of a Medieval Crusader writing a letter to his wife goes like this “My dear wife, I now have twice as much gold, silver and other riches as I had before I went on this crusade.” So, Because, of this found new wealth, he is more devoted, god and his wealth.

Hope that helps!!!!                                 : )
