Please someone help, it will be great if you do

We will get shaded area when we subtract rectangle area from semicircle area.
Rectangle area is Ar=a*b=16*6= 96 cm∧2
Semicircle area is Asc= (r∧2 pi)/2
First we must find radius.
We know that the center of the semicircle ( or circle) is in the middle of the longer side of the rectangle.
Now we can find radius with Pythagorean theorem
r= √8∧2+6∧2= √64+36 =√100= 10cm => r= 10 cm
Asc=(10∧2 * pi)/2 = 50 pi cm∧2
Shaded area is Asc - Ar = 50pi - 96 = 2 (25pi-48) cm∧2
Good luck!!!
The Rectangle has Dimensions 16 cm. By 6 cm.
Work Out Shaded Area:
Give Answer In Terms of pi:
C = pi D
A = pi r^2
Area of Rectangle
16 * 6
= 96 cm^2
So, radius of Circle is Hypothenuse of Tri-Angle:
6^2 + 8^2
36 + 64
= 100
sqrt 100 = 10
Radius of Circle:
= 10 cm
A = pi * 10^2/2
= 50 pi
Shaded Area:
= 50 pi - 96
= 61.0796327
Inside of the Square ====> 6 ==> 6 on both sides
Inside of square ====> half right =====> 10 diagonal 7
Outside of Diagram =====> bottom left ====> 8 ===> Btm. Right ==> 8
Hope that helps!!! : )
