Cochlea

Cochlea is the shell-like part of the inner ear that converts sound vibrations into nerve impulses to be interpreted by the brain. This occur when sound vibrations cause the stereocilia in the inner ear to move, translating the vibration into neural messages.

The answer is cochlea.

The cochlea is the part of inner ear. It is spiral shaped which resembles a snail shell. It a hearing organ in the human ear. The sound vibrations move through the fluid in the cochlea.
