Respuesta :

Note the equal sign. What you do to one side, you do to the other. Isolate the variable, t. Remember to do the opposite of PEMDAS.

t = 3 is your answer

Hope this helps

Ok lets start with the equation: 5t+13=6t+10
To solve for t, you need to subtract 10 on both sides.

5t+13=6t+10
-10 -10
------------------
5t+3=6t

From here, you can subtract 5 from both sides.

5t+3=6t
-5t -5t
-------------
3=t

3 is the answer. Its just balancing the equation really, you need to think about how to get rid of the numbers to get the variable by itself, and there's the answer on the other side of the equal sign :). Always subtract/add before multiplication/division.
