ENVIRONMENT
There are many theories discussing how genetics and upbringing shape a person’s personality throughout his life. Ryan’s interaction with his environment and the experiences he had throughout his life shapes his personality. Openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism are the five traits that influence how he participates with his surroundings. Â
Theorists believed that early life experiences have the maximum impact in a person’s personality. However, they also argued that new life experiences, temperament, the kind of social roles or simply growing older can change an individual’s personality over time. Â
Answer:
Change theorists would argue that Ryan’s personality may have been modified by interacting with his environment.
Explanation:
Lewin's Change Theory has it's three major concepts: driving forces(push in a direction to cause change), restraining forces(hinder change), and equilibrium(no change occurs).
Ryan was a highly sensitive baby, but was pushed to become loud and outgoing (driving force). After entering adolescence, he reversed back into being more reserved (restraining force), and then remained this way throughout his adult life (equilibrium).
