The main cause of water and air pollution in China is the uncontrolled development of economic activities, especially in cities, with the increase in the undue disposal of tailing from the sewage system, sanitation and the various coal plants found in the country. Another cause also pointed out is the incorrect destination of the garbage by the population, which throws objects in the waterways for pure lack of environmental awareness.
