The nervous  and the muscular system interacts as follows

  • Receptors in the muscles [provide the brain with information about the body position  and movement.
  • The brain send signal  back  down the spinal  cord directed to the location of desired muscle
  •  The ultimate effect of this signals is the acetylcholine  is  released onto  the muscle  fibers  which target nicotinic cholinergic receptors  which open ion channel that cause the  muscle to contract.
