first subtract 8 on the left side. what you do to the left Side you have to do to the right side. so then you should get -11. then since there in no number infront of the w, put a 1. then divide 1w/1 to cancel it out. and again what you do to one side you do to the other so then divide -11/1 which equals -11. hope you understand it.
