WILL GIVE BRAINLY!! A hippogriff is a large flying creature that Hagrid watches over at Hogwarts. If the Hippogriff’s mass is 1200 kg then what is its weight? (Remember that the acceleration of gravity is -9.8 m/s2.)

If I am right, 1 kg= 2.2 pounds, which would make the hippogriff 2640 pounds on earth.

S.I unit for weight or force(F) is newton(N)

F = m * a, where m is mass and a is acceleration.

F = 1200 kg * -9.8m/s^2
F = -11760 kgm /s^2
F = -11760 N
