The Gospel of John shows that the author was an eye witness of the events in Jesus' life and ministry. It also contains facts that were not mentioned earlier in the other gospels. He talks of events occured after Jesus' resurrection, but of other important facts too. The gospel of John describes the deep understanding John had of the mission and meaning of the son of God.
