D. looks like it could be it, but mass is all other physical quantities like speed, velocity and weight. Mass only measures grams, kilograms and, tonnes (Metric) or ounces and pounds (US units).
Volume is the best choice because it is the amount of space that a substance or object occupies, or that is enclosed within a container, especially when great. Volume also ONLY MEASURES (solid, liquid, gas, or plasma)
