When did the Tutsi genocide happen?
The Rwandan genocide, also known as the genocide against the Tutsi, took place between 7 April and 15 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War.
During the 100 days or so, members of a small Tutsi group, as well as Hutu and Twa in the middle, were killed by armed soldiers.
