Answer: they can be called (Roots, zeros, 0, x-intereepts or Quadratic Formula and last but not least its not really the last one just giving u other one cuz there are more but last but not least Quadratic solution)

Quadratic equations are 2 degree equations that has only two solutions. [tex]\alpha[/tex] and [tex]\beta[/tex] are called the "Roots" , "Zeros" or "x- intercepts" of the Quadratic equation.

Any equation of the format

[tex]ax^{2}+bx +c = 0[/tex] ............(1)  is called as a quadratic equation.

Solutions to a quadratic equation is given by formula that is formulated below,

[tex]\rm \alpha =-b+(b^2-4ac)/(2a)\\[/tex]

[tex]\rm\beta = -b-(b^2-4ac)/(2a)[/tex]

[tex]\alpha[/tex] and [tex]\beta[/tex] are the solutions to the given equation (1).

[tex]\alpha[/tex] and [tex]\beta[/tex] are also called the "Roots" , "Zeros" , " x- intercepts" of the Quadratic equation.
