The surgical process of an artificial replacement of joint is called as Arthroplasty. It is an orthopedic surgery in which any joint is replaced by the artificial joint due to arthritic or dysfunctioning of any joint surface. It is recommended when any has severe joint pain and can not be treated or affected by and medical therapy, then as last line of treatment artificial surgical replacement if joint is recommended.
