I mostly agree with Locke's view on government. In absolute monarchy, the power to determine the type of law that shall be passed only fall to the hands of the nobles. This give the common people with very little power to influence the government.

Explanation:
Hobbes believed that humans were naturally chaotic, suspicious of each other, and always competing with one another. Because of this, he favored absolute monarchy. He thought the role of government should be able to rule over the people with absolute monarchy. Locke believed that people are kind and creative. Because of this, the role of government Locke favored was democracy. This role of government is to protect the life and liberty of the citizens. I personally agree more with Lockes’ view on government. I believe this because, with absolute monarchy, the power to determine what laws will be passed will fall in the hands of the nobles because they have more money, power, and a higher social status. But, democracy would give the common people who have little power, little money, and a low social status a chance to have an input on the laws that will be passed and an influence on the government.
