Describe two energy transformations that are happening in the situation described below:
A tree grows in the sunlight. The tree is cut down and taken to a power plant, where it is burned. This heat is used to heat up steam, which turns a turbine to make electivity.

Electromagnetic energy of light converts into chemical energy of photosynthesis so that the three grows.

Heat energy of the burned tree boils the water which gives its energy to the turbine so that is could rotate, i.e. mechanical energy.
