During world war 1,  The Great Britain was known as the best naval army in the world. Germany know that they cannot face the British naval army on the surface, so they invested in more submarines to help them sustain the attack from sea.

Germany use the submarines mainly to destroy ships that deliver supplies for allied countries in order to weakened them. Even though eventually Germany still lost, without submarine the allied forces would destroyed them even faster.

The technology that made the war different was the use of submarines by the German troops in the war.

What is a submarine?

These are the war ships that are submerged in seas that have been used to destroy enemies in the water.

If the Germans did not have this material, winning the war would have been faster fro the allied powers. The Germans used it to wreck a lot of havoc in the camp of the allies.
