Brianna's teacher asks her which of these three expressions are equivalent to each other.
Expression A: 9x - 3x - 4
Expression B: 12x - 4
Expression C: 5x + x - 4
Brianna says that all three expressions are equivalent because the value of each one is -4 when x = 0
Brianna's thinking is incorrect. Yes or No
Identify the error in Brianna's thinking. Determine which of the three expressions are equivalent.

Respuesta :

Yes, Brianna's thinking is incorrect because they don't all add up to the same answer.  They are totally different equations.  even though they all say -4 and x=0 they are different.

Also, I have a question for biology im in middle school do you think you could check it out and try and answer it.
thanks!

a. and c. are equivalent because the value of each is -4 and x=6
