If the acceptance rate for medical school is one of every two students, and the acceptance rate for optometry school is one of every three students, this means that medical school is more difficult to get into and has a more competitive entry.
true or false

Respuesta :

Answer: False

Explanation: Optometry school is more difficult to get into as compared to Medical school because if we were to make both numbers into a fraction, we would get 1/2 for Medical school and 1/3 for Optometry school. Converting the fractions into decimals, we would get 0.5 for Medical school, and 0.333+ (there are a lot of 3's in this decimal) for Optometry school, and obviously 0.5 is the larger value. So, this means that it is more difficult to get into Optometry school than it is to get into Medical school.
