someobe please help

Step 1: Add two to both sides. Addition is the opposite of subtraction and there for will cancel 2 out from the left side and bring it over to the right
[tex]\frac{x}{3} + (-2 + 2) = 3 - 2[/tex]
[tex]\frac{x}{3} = 1[/tex]
Step 2: Multiply 3 to both sides. Multiplication is the opposite of division and will get rid of 3 on the left side and bring it to the right. It is also the last step to isolate x
[tex](\frac{x}{3})3 = 1(3)[/tex]
x = 3
Hope this helped!
