1. The Renaissance was a time period that followed the Middle ages. It was  considered a "rebirth" of art, politics, music, and more. It was the transition from the Middle ages to the Modern ages.

2. The Plague effected the economy of Europe by massively eliminating a big percentage of the population. That limited trade, crops from farmers, workers of all kinds, and every other aspect of life in Europe at the time.

3. The new middle class in the Renaissance were just like the other aspects of the rebirth, the social classes were also re-birthed. The new middle class consisted of Nobles and highly respected figures in communities that often owned a lot of land and businesses ventures.

4. Every aspect of cities changed and upgraded from the Middle Ages, often they changed the look of churches and government buildings to fit the artistic style and aesthetic of the time. Arguably, the most important Renaissance City in Italy was Venice.

5. The House of Medici was a political dynasty and a banking family in the Renaissance that contributed to the economy in the early period.

6.  It modernized newspapers and other forms of literacy for all of the world. Gutenberg's printing press specifically utilized the printing press and made an example that soon the whole world would follow.

7. Humanism is a ethical and philosophical belief that emphasizes the value of human life and human rights.

8. The Humanists contradicted the teachings of the Catholic Church because of their view on the church and its seemingly oppressive teachings and beliefs. They would often protest, riot, post propaganda, and even sometimes vandalize churches and church-owned buildings.

9. The rebirth of classical studies was an incredibly important part of the rebirth that is the Renaissance because it changed the way we looked at and taught/learned classical studies.

10. The Renaissance was one of the most important time for religious freedom because that is where the movement towards religious freedom started. Humanists pushed towards separation of religion and normal life affairs which later led to the establishment of separation of church and state in the United States.

11. The Renaissance usually is remembered by most as the period in which a lot of Architecture changed forever. They started to incorporate more and new art into churches and other public buildings. And some of the most important and influential artists and their masterpieces derived from the Renaissance.
