Dimensions: 3 feet by 5 feet

Extended: 1 foot on the width and length

So, 3 feet is now 4 feet and 15 feet is now 16 feet.

P = 2l + 2w

P = 2(16) + 2(4)

P = 32 + 8

P = 40 feet
