Respuesta :

In Wuthering Heights , Heathcliff has lost Catherine to the Linton´s.He is full of feelings of revenge against the Hindley´s son, Haerton as he thinks Hindley is the cause of all his misfortunes when Catherine was alive. However, Hindley´s son is in love with Cathy Heathcliff and they will probably end up together. The sentences uttered by Heathcliff mean that what is happening between Haerton and Cathy is some sort of redemption for what he had to suffer with Catherine .
