How would I solve -3 < x + 2 < 7 ?
As you can see, I tried doing it but I'm pretty sure I was doing it completely wrong. I'm in 9th, so if anyone can help, that'd be great! ​

it becomes -2 since u are moving it to the other side..

-3-2 < x < 7-2

-5 < x < 5

2nd method would be to split the equation first into two parts:

1)

-3 < x + 2

-3 -2 < x

-5 < x

2)

x + 2 < 7

x < 7 - 2

x < 5

u will need to combine these 2 equalities.

so it will still becomes,
