The renaissance meant that the Europeans now wanted luxury items and wealth, which caused the age of exploration.People of this era began to question, think, and attempt to prove observations rather than just accept.
Adding to one of the answers> Renaissance played a role for technology because of the “printer” back then called “printing press” I believe. Printing press originated from China and really took off thanks to the Italian Renaissance.
