According to the attraction of Chaucer’s reactions, it is not easy to tell if the laws are genuine or not. - In "The General Prologue", the narrator stated that the spring was returning and that the devout English pilgrims usually travel for pilgrimage.
- "The Pardoner's Tale," is a story about greed. There were three men who decided that they were going to destroy Death because one of their friends was dead. When they got to the tree where they believed death was, they found gold, and through their greed, they killed each other.
- "The Nun's Priest's Tale," is about a story that one should not trust flatterers, one should be vigilant and one shouldn't talk too much.
