explain why it is important to know if a time is in a.m. or p.m. when figuring out how much time has elapsed.

it has to be pm I'm if it says for an example 5:00am you have to use pm now
It is important because if you just so happen to go to sleep at 5:00 Pm and you wake up at 5:30 Am youd think only 30 minutes pass when in reality 12 hours and 30 minutes passed
