Katie was practicing her free throws. She shot 9 times and made 7 baskets. At this rate, how many times will she need to shoot to make 35 baskets?

7/35 = 5   5*9 = 45

9(shots)/7(baskets) = S(shots)/35(baskets). 9x35=315. 7xS=7s. 315=7s. 315/7=S. 45=S. It would take 45 shots :)
