Difference in Location:
- Areolar tissue is located in the under the cutaneous layer.It is also present around blood vessel.
- Adipose tissue also known as fat tissue is located along with areolar tissue.
- Reticular tissue is located on the stroma of the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, red bone marrow, around blood vessel and muscle.
Difference in Function:
- Areolar tissue gives strength, elasticity and support to the organs they are present in.
- Adipose tissue provide cushioning and protects organ. Being insulators they reduce heat loss and conserve energy in form of fats.
